Chris Benham: Managing Director
With a background in construction surveying, Chris started with the Hunting Gate Group in 1982. Having enhanced his experience with significant projects on site, with his co-director he carried out a management buy-out of the company in 2000. Married, with 2 daughters, Chris lives in Hertfordshire.
Ian Saunders: Commercial Director
Ian has been involved in construction since he left school. He joined Hunting Gate Group in the early 1980s, heading several departments including Estimating, Procurement and Marketing. Ian carried out the management buy out with fellow board director in 2000 and lives with his family in Bedfordshire.
Kevin Quinn: Director, Civil Engineering
Kevin, a Civil Engineer, since leaving University has many years of experience controlling groundworks, civil engineering and concrete frame operations. Now living in Hertfordshire, Kevin enjoys his family life.
Richard Eldridge: Company Sec/Director of Finance
A Chartered Accountant since the 1970s who has been in the construction industry and with HG Construction since the 1990s. Richard's role has now been widened to incorporate legal and human resources. He is married and now lives in Cambridgeshire.
Colin Nunn: Health, Safety & Quality Manager
Colin started his working life in the electronics industry where he progressed towards the health and safety issues. Colin joined HG Construction Ltd as Health, Safety & Quality Manager in April 2007. As Quality Manager, Colin is responsible for maintaining the Company’s accreditation to BS EN ISO 9001:2000, organising regular site and office audits and ensuring the Company’s Quality Manual is kept up to date in line with current legislation.
Steve Todd: Chief Estimator
Steve has been in the construction industry since leaving university. He joined HG Construction as Chief Estimator in 1999, and is responsible for many aspects of the pre-contract workload including design, planning and costing. He lives with his family in Bedfordshire.
