Parsifal College
This was an interesting and prestigious project at Finchley Road in North London.
The brief
This project was for the refurbishment and extension of Parsifal College for Le Chambre de Commerce et D'Industrie de Paris.
The remainder of the site was upgraded to provide administration and communal accommodation to suit a standalone college.
The contract was procured under JCT Design & Build Contract with particular amendments.
What we didThe development included the provision of a new lecture theatre, ensuite student accommodation and the upgrading of existing accommodation and ancillary buildings.
Parts of the existing “Listed structure” had to be maintained and included within the upgraded performance of the finished building. This included stone arches, fire places, lead/glass stained windows, quarry tiled floors, feature roof timbers, non standard shaped and sized internal doors together with other external superstructure features.
The results
The whole of the project was completed within a compressed time frame to suit student intake.
