HG Construction Ltd have experience in many forms of contract including Design and Build, Bills of Quantity, Construction Management and Management Contracting, but all contracts must be controlled in terms of quality, health and safety and out turn cost.
From our roots in the early 80s, associated with many major developments, we implemented procedures and management processes to control both the design process and the overall financial exposure. These processes have enabled us to be confident in offering our Clients realistic pricing and, where required, a GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price) particularly where design and build forms of contract are used. The philosophy to achieve a high quality product within the Clients' budgets, and where possible surpass their expectations, is ingrained in our whole staff structure.
Our expertise in managing the processes of construction, both on and off the site, ensures consideration is given at the right time to cost alternatives, programming, procurement and value engineering options. This approach has resulted in a high level of business being secured through negotiation where our early involvement in the projects has either added value, saved money or resolved potential problems without cost. The ability to work within fixed budgets is inbuilt in all our staff thus ensuring the delivery of projects as planned.
At HG Construction we recognise that building sites are potentially dangerous for workers, visitors and staff. We take our responsibility for health and safety seriously and consequently we have a continually evolving training scheme to ensure everyone recognises their responsibilities, deals with potential dangers and keeps themselves and others in a safe working environment.
